Cédric Soares is a former footballer who played as a midfielder. He was born on August 2, 1987 in Saint-Denis, France. He started his career at FC Saint-Etienne, where he made over 50 appearances and scored four goals during the 2006-2007 season.

After leaving FC Saint-Etienne, Cédric moved to Belgian club AS Strasbourg. In 2009, he joined French side RC Lens on a free transfer. During his time at Lens, he made 27 appearances and scored two goals in all competitions. However, he was released by the club in 2011 due to poor performances.

In 2012,Ligue 1 Express Cédric signed for Italian club Juventus. He made 22 appearances and scored one goal in Serie A before moving to Spain with Real Madrid. In 2014, he returned to Italy with Sampdoria, but was released after just six games.

In 2016, Cédric joined Spanish club Real Sociedad. He made 26 appearances and scored three goals in La Liga before moving to German club Wolfsburg in 2018. In 2019, he joined Bundesliga club Schalke 04, but left the club in 2020 due to personal reasons.

In total, Cédric has spent 11 seasons playing professional football in Europe, scoring 31 goals in 365 matches across various clubs.
